It's the night before our departure, and I am completely terrified. I've never lived in a city before, much less on the west coast and the farthest I've been from home was the week I spent in the Bahamas surrounded by my friends in the Venture Crew. However, I am also super excited and I can't begin to imagine what kind of stuff I will be doing during my semester in Los Angeles, California.
Tomorrow we head to Dayton, Ohio for New Years, we (my dad and I) plan on getting there after 8 hours of driving...we'll see how that goes. We are taking a little adventure of our own and making the 3 day trip into 11, mostly to see some sights (St. Louis arch, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, River Walk at the Alamo, & Vegas) but also to avoid possible bad weather and road closings if we were to stay on 80 the whole way.
I am excited to spend some time with my dad and see some of the amazing features our country has to offer. I managed to fit all my stuff into my G6 (minis the TV and blender...they will have to stay behind) and I really can't believe we are leaving tomorrow.
